Spring is definitely around the corner as the Forest City Street Department recently approached the city council on the idea street patching. Streets and Sanitation Director Andrew Faber explained that he had received some bids but was recommending one for approval.
The bid came from Blacktop Service Company with offices in Humboldt and Burt for a total of $35,428.
The city council accepted the bid for the proposed amount.
