The dream of a beautiful new Little League stadium in Garner is quickly taking shape. The city has plans to modernize the current facility and make it a fun and exciting new experience for young ballplayers and families alike. The project is expensive but city leaders feel it is worth it. They are getting help from the community and business leaders such as Zinpro Corporation who for 50 years has been specializing in the field of nutritional health solutions, services, and science.
According to Garner Mayor Tim Schmidt, the company, who has offices in Garner, is helping out in a big way.
The hope is to have an irrigation system, new concession stands, new seating, better dug outs, and lighting systems installed and ready for next season. Schmidt stated they are just about ready to start.
The effort is also remodeling expected to strengthen an already successful youth program.
