The annual Race Day on Main is taking place today in Britt. Racers and fans are invited to Britt starting at 2:30 PM on Friday, May 19th, for an afternoon of fun before kicking off the 2023 Hancock County Speedway season Friday night.
The event will have several competitions such as the Best of Show in each class with judging starting at 3:30 PM, the 3 Person Tire Change Competition with sign up at 3:30 PM, and the Big Wheel Races for the kids, age groups 3-5 and 6-8! Big Wheels will be provided for racers. No personal big wheels may be used. The sign up at 4 PM and all participants receive a prize and are entered into a drawing for a free girls and boys bike.
The event and prizes for the winners are sponsored by the Britt Chamber of Commerce, John Pletcher, Darlene Weber, Hancock County Speedway, Swenson’s Hardware, Britt Food Center, City of Britt, Mojo Productions, and the Titanium Lunchbox.
