The city of Garner is looking into funding avenues for the Federated Apartments project. Funding activities will be discussed in a future public hearing according to Garner Mayor Tim Schmidt.
This will effectively be new apartments that will be built in the city according to Schmidt.
The city looked towards outside organizations and individuals to make the project a reality.
Schmidt stated that the city council will hold a public hearing on June 27th at 5:30pm to allow the public to comment on the project.
