The Forest City Council has decided to end the Highway 69 South Urban Renewal Plan which meant that the city needed to take the tax roll off of the books officially and end the levies according to Forest City Administrator Daisy Huffman.
The council took a vote to end the levy process for the area that it served.
The city council passed the measure by unanimous consent on a roll call vote.
