Denimfest Concludes 2023 Festival

Fans celebrated Memorial Day in style at the inaugural Denimfest Country Music Festival in Heritage Park of North Iowa in Forest City. Several notable country music stars both nationally recognized and regionally based performed at the festival. The organizers wanted to have a military flavor to the event coinciding with the Memorial Day holiday weekend. As a result, there were military flyovers, displays, and the replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall at the festival.

Jelly Roll, who recently won numerous country music awards, closed the festival on Sunday night with his own unique brand of music. Crowds were treated to his recent hits and covers of other bands like Lynyrd Skynrd.

Organizers are hoping for an even bigger festival next year. They have signed a five year agreement with Heritage Park to stage future Denimfests.
