Winnebago Board to Discuss Reclassifications and Utilities

The Winnebago County Board of Supervisors will open their meeting on Tuesday with a discussion on secondary roads. The meeting can be viewed live on kiow.com. The board may take action regarding secondary roads authorized for use with an Annual All-Systems Overweight Permit. They will also consider for approval appeal of a road access policy from Gary Garst to widen a driveway over 45 feet in Section 29 of Buffalo Township.

The board will also consider a Utility Permit for Heartland Power to bury overhead electric lines in Sections 9, 16, 21, and 28 of Buffalo Township.

Drainage matters will then be considered such as canvassing the election to allow Drainage District 76 to become a supervisor controlled district.

The supervisors will then consider for approval an updated Reclassification reports for Main Ditch, Lat 1 Ditch, Lat 1 Tile, Lat 1A Tile, and Lat 1B Tile in Joint Drainage District 49-79 and set Public Hearing date.

The board will then consider for approval updated Reclassification reports for the Main Ditch and Lat 2 Ditch in Joint Drainage District 68-136 and set a Public Hearing date. Reclassification reports will also be done for sections in Drainage Districts 5, 18, 21, and 47.

The board will open Bids for External Auditors because the contract for the current one has expired. The supervisors will vote to approve the award the bid for External Auditor.
They will then consider for approval the contract with Scott Levine for rural recycling.
