The Winnebago County Board of Supervisors will meet to discuss the secondary roads status with County Engineer Scott Meinders. Projects, repairs, and pending weather and its impact on the roads will be discussed.
This will be followed by drainage matters which are very few because of the season.
Of big concern is the current budgets submitted by all departments. Last week, the Auditor’s Office was busy with recalculating valuations of property owned by businesses and residents. These new numbers form the basis of how much the county can expect in revenues from property taxes. Budgets may have to adjusted to comply with these results.
The board is expected to be apprised of the new overall budget figures and where the county now stands fiscally for the new fiscal year.
