Forest City High School will be presenting Guys and Dolls at the Boman Fine Arts Theater on Saturday and Sunday. The show is full of plot twists, upbeat song and dance, along with romance.
Cesar Lechuga plays the role of Nathan Detroit who is a very unusual character.
In preparing for the role, Lechuga has looked at other examples.
While assuming the mannerisms and mentality of the character, he also finds that there are very difficult aspects that he must master for the role.
Lechuga sees the role as another step in his scholastic acting career because he feels it broadens his abilities onstage.
Taking these steps is important to Lechuga not only for his onstage life but also for his personal life in becoming the individual he wants to be.
