Winnebago County Approves Paving Project

The Winnebago County Board of Supervisors were asked by Winnebago County engineer Scott Meinders to review and accept a bid from Dustrol Incorporated to pave R74 from Lake Mills to the Hancock County line.

Meinders explained that the million-dollar project is innovative and new to Iowa.

The project will take some time because of the unique way the paving process is done.

Meinders estimates that the project will take a couple weeks or more to complete. It will involve traffic changes.

He believes that the project could be executed and done in the summer of next year.
