The Garner City Council has passed a resolution that will make improvements to various athletic venues in Tourist Park. The council wants to repair and enhance the basketball courts according to Garner Mayor Tim Schmidt.
According to Schmidt, the city will contract with C. S. Construction to repair and replace the asphalt courts.
Work will begin on the courts shortly.
