It appears that during this time of year, street signs in Forest City are “downed”. The Forest City Police Department has begun to get busy responding to this mysterious issue. Forest City Police Chief Tom Montgomery addressed the Forest City Council about the problem.
Streets and Sanitation Director Andrew Faber recognized the issue and told the council that his department is working on the problem.
Neither department would comment further on the problem. If residents do see suspicious activity, they are encouraged to call 911 and can remain anonymous.
