Kanawha to Raise Water and Sewer Rates

Like many area cities, Kanawha must raise their water and sewer rates in order to keep up with pricing. Mayor Gloria Sobek believes that the residents understand why this need to be done incrementally.

Sobek stated that rates for both water and sewer will go up by 3%. The increase will take place after June 1st.
