Forest City Police Consider New Traffic Signs

The Forest City Police Department is considering the purchase of new signs designed to inform drivers of hazardous conditions, traffic issues, and other important information. Forest City Police Chief Tom Montgomery explained that the department may look to these in the future.

Montgomery believes that these signs are valuable assets for the police department and the safety of its residents. The department has had units like this in the past.

Forest City Mayor Ron Holland likes the idea of the sign and the flexibility that they provide for the department.

Montgomery agreed that the signs are versatile and durable.

The council got a chance to look at the new models of electronic signs, but no action was taken.
