The Wright County Board of Supervisors will meet on Monday beginning at 9am to hold the second reading of Ordinance #65 on Tanning Facility inspections. Then at 9:15 a.m., the supervisors will consider and take action to appoint Snyder & Associates as the County Inspector to ensure the construction of the Summit Carbon Solutions pipeline complies with the Agricultural land restoration plan.
The board will review and take action on Resolution 2023-18 Supporting Current Local Option Sales Tax Structure. Then at 9:30 a.m. Dave Johnson, Drainage Attorney. There may be a possible closed session following Iowa Code 21.5 (c) to discuss strategy with counsel in matters that are presently in litigation or where litigation is imminent where its disclosure would be likely to prejudice or disadvantage the position of the governmental body in that litigation.
The board will then hear from Wright County Engineer Adam Clemons to determine a course of action on the closure of Bridge #173 due to damaged bridge member. the supervisors will also consider a Public Highway At-Grade Crossing Agreement for Bridge #211 which is the Woolstock City Bridge on C-70.
