Wright County Board to Distribute ARPA Funds

The Wright County Board of Supervisors will meet on Monday beginning at 9am with a discussion and review of the current state of secondary roads in the county. The board will hear from Wright County Engineer Adam Clemons about any current and planned projects on the roads along with those that have been completed. He will also update the board on any bridge replacement work in the future.

The board will then begin the process of distributing the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding to various departments and projects in the county. The board will approve the disbursement of funds that was given to them by the federal government to make up for lost revenue from the pandemic. The county had to demonstrate that it had lost revenue as a direct result of the pandemic before receiving the funds.
