Worth Supervisor Board Debates Joining Winnebago River Watershed Authority

The Worth County Board of Supervisors discussed an idea of participating in the Winnebago River Watershed Management Authority Agreement. Chairman Enos Loberg explained that Worth County is fully involved in several of these authorities.

Supervisor A. J. Stone explained that Worth County is part of the Winnebago River basin just as they are with other river watersheds.

The authority is not just looking at Worth County to join in the group according to Loberg.

A resolution to join has been drafted. The board will take up approval of the membership in their next regular meeting on Monday next week.
