High school athletes in the area participate in a wide range of activities. Some are in all the major sports designating them as four sport athletes. The Forest City Community School District has reviewed a proposed dual participation agreement. Forest City Community Schools Superintendent Darwin Lehmann explained the purpose of the agreement.
This gives both the athlete and their parent the opportunity for flexibility when both sports run concurrently.
The board approved the agreement.
