The Garner City Council has put forward a project to improve the baseball and softball fields in the city. The bold new project will greatly improve the summer experience at the ballparks. Mayor Tim Schmidt and the Garner City Council were apprised of a significant contribution made by Stellar Industries of Garner.
The ballpark will have all of the amenities and features attendees would want with a new updated feel. It will also be more pleasant and fun for the teams that participate in games at the park.
The award means a lot to the city parks system and Schmidt was very pleased about the local manufacturer who stepped forward and came through in a big way.
The project calls for a large amount of funding in order for it to be completed, but Schmidt said that the Stellar donation will help tremendously.
The community can take added pride in the construction of the new fields as they will be a part of work to erect them.
