Garner Celebrity Softball Fundraiser

The Rotary Club of Garner and Garner Parks & Rec. Extra Innings Group is raising funds for Garner Community projects. We are hosting a Celebrity Softball Match-up on Sunday, September 24th at 4:00 p.m. This event will be held at the GHV High School Ball Diamonds.
The Rotary mission is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders. Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. Rotary members are raising funds to help support community service projects, Humanitarian projects around the world, the Youth Exchange Program, opportunities for Interactors to attend RYLA (youth leadership event), and to provide scholarships to area students. The Garner Parks & Rec Extra Innings Baseball/Softball Complex Renovation Project vision is to provide opportunities through baseball and softball to all children to develop skills, build friendships, and grow as citizens through competition, fair play, and fun. Their mission is to provide an enhanced sports complex that builds the capacity of our young athletes and opens opportunities for our community to gather and prosper. Both of our organizations are dedicated to making these projects happen.
