Buffalo Center’s annual Bison Days celebration returns July 24–26 with three packed days of family activities, food, live music, games, community fundraisers and more! 🦬🎉

The weekend will include a parade, free ice cream, children’s activities, a 5K/10K run, cornhole tournaments, swimming, live music, a fire department dance, historical exhibits and plenty of food.

🎈 Friday, July 24

🍦 1–3 p.m. — Free ice cream, courtesy of Farmers Trust & Savings Bank
🎨 3–4 p.m. — Fun Run sign and craft station
😊 4–5 p.m. — Face painting, courtesy of the Winnebago County Attorney
🍽️ 4:30–7:30 p.m. — NIB fundraiser meal
🚗 5 p.m. — Parade lineup at Bison Field
🎉 6 p.m. — Bison Days Parade
🎨 After the parade — Face painting continues
🏅 7 p.m. — Brian Hobbs Memorial Games, formerly known as the Junior Olympics
🚒 7:45 p.m. — Fire Department Water Barrel Wars

⭐ Saturday, July 25

🛍️ 8 a.m. — Vendor and food market, along with additional Crazy Day sales at participating Buffalo Center businesses
🔎 8 a.m.–4 p.m. — Kids Scavenger Hunt; pick up materials at the NIB information booth
🏃 8 a.m. — 5K, 10K and one-mile walk/run
🧁 9–10 a.m. — Cupcake Challenge drop-off and registration at the Lion’s Park shelter
🧘 9:30 a.m. — Yoga in the Park
🚜 10:30 a.m. — Kids Pedal Pull; registration begins at 9:30 a.m.
🌽 1 p.m. — Youth Cornhole Tournament; registration begins at noon
🧁 1 p.m. — Cupcake Challenge winners announced
🎶 1–3 p.m. — Music in the Park

🎈 1–4 p.m. — Kids’ activities, including:

• Foam party from noon to 1 p.m.
• Hair painting from 2–4 p.m.
• Pony rides from 2–4 p.m. with a suggested $5 donation
• Balloon artist
• Inflatables
• Happy Train
• Games and more
• Free watermelon
• Open kickball, hoops and sand volleyball

🏊 1–4 p.m. — Free swim at the Buffalo Center swimming pool
🌽 3 p.m. — Adult Cornhole Tournament; registration begins at 2 p.m.
🍰 3–5 p.m. — Cakewalk; $1 per turn
🎱 3–5 p.m. — Bingo fundraiser benefiting the Winnebago County Fair
🏛️ 4–6:30 p.m. — Historical Society Museum open at Heritage Town Center
🍽️ 5–6:30 p.m. — Historical Society fundraiser meal at Heritage Town Center
🍖 6 p.m. — Smokin’ Joe’s BBQ at the fire station
🎸 7 p.m. — Fire Department Dance featuring Stubble Trouble and Junk FM at the fire station

☀️ Sunday, July 26

☕ 7–11 a.m. — Stompin’ Grounds Coffee Truck at Post Office Park
🙏 9:30 a.m. — Community worship service at Post Office Park
🍽️ 10 a.m.–noon — BCVAC brunch fundraiser at Heritage Town Center
🏛️ 1–4 p.m. — Historical Society Museum open at Heritage Town Center
🕰️ 2 p.m. — Historical Society Antique Roadshow and Ice Cream Social at Heritage Town Center
🏓 6 p.m. — Pickleball watch, learn and play lesson
