Every business and government entity must have an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Safety Book. The Kanawha City Council addressed the issue in a recent council meeting. Mayor Gloria Sobek said the city will update or assemble one if necessary.
The safety book contains a breakdown of the chemicals used by the city, safety procedures, emergency protocols, and other related OSHA mandated items.
