The Iowa State University Northern Research Farm in Kanawha is planning an event to summarize the trends in Iowa’s water quality. Paul Bartell is one of the organizers of the event which is free and open to the public.
Discussion will be had on their effect water quality has on human health and ecosystems along with what we can do to improve Iowa’s water quality according to Bartell.
One of those issues deals with nitrates in the water.
Panel discussions will be had along with experts in the field and audience participation according to Bartell.
The event will be August 4th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the ISU Research Farm in Kanawha.
