Forest City Approves Change Order on Wastewater Improvement Project

The Forest City Council was asked to approve a little more than $70,000 in a change order for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements in a recent council meeting. The order involved three items for approval including two digesters that needed stairs and platforms along with piping modifications. Forest City Administrator Tony Mikes explained that the orders were necessary.

Mikes explained that the council is made aware of the changes that are needed in the overall construction of the project.

This differs from the pay estimate request which are made according to Mikes.

Work continues on the Water and Wastewater Treatment Project.
