Party in the Gardens Coming to Clear Lake

One of North Iowa’s most anticipated summer evenings returns on Saturday, August 29, as Central Gardens of North Iowa hosts Party in the Gardens, an elegant outdoor celebration benefiting one of the region’s most treasured public spaces. From 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., guests will enjoy a relaxed summer evening surrounded by the beauty of Central Gardens, featuring live music by Jimmie C. Clark & Fiddle Band, delicious hors d’oeuvres, beverages, dancing under the evening sky, and a silent auction featuring unique experiences, artwork, and local treasures.
More than simply a fundraiser, Party in the Gardens celebrates everything that makes North Iowa special, beautiful places, generous people, and the connections that strengthen our communities.
New this year, Central Gardens will recognize two individuals or organizations whose leadership and service have made a lasting impact on North Iowa. The awards reflect the Gardens’ commitment to cultivating not only beautiful landscapes but also community, education, environmental stewardship, and future generations.
“Central Gardens has always been about bringing people together,” said Tammy Sherwood, Development Director. “Party in the Gardens is an opportunity to celebrate our community while ensuring this beautiful place remains free and welcoming for everyone who visits.”

Each year, more than 25,000 people visit Central Gardens to enjoy its beauty, attend educational programs, participate in community events, and find a place for reflection and connection. Proceeds from Party in the Gardens help support the care of the Gardens, educational programming, youth initiatives, and free public access throughout the year.
Businesses and individuals are also invited to become part of the evening by sponsoring the event, donating silent auction items, or volunteering behind the scenes. Community support makes it possible for Central Gardens to continue growing as one of North Iowa’s premier destinations.
