Forest City Council Approves Treatment Plant Payment

The Forest City Council continues to pay for a water and wastewater treatment plant for its residents and businesses. Forest City Administrator Tony Mikes explained that the city has some remaining debt to pay.

Contractors bid to get the project with the lowest bid typically winning the contract. Along with the cost of the project, there may be some additional unforeseen costs which must be paid for according to Mikes.

New requirements and a need to update the treatment facilities.
