Garner City Council to Meet Tuesday

The Garner City Council will meet at city hall beginning at 5pm. THe meeting will consist of a consent agenda over liquor licenses summer employment hiring and claims.

The council will hear from One Vision’s Employment Services. This will be an informational presentation from One Vision, on fostering a more inclusive community.

The council will get a presentation from the Garner Ambulance Service including a presentation on a 28E Agreement payment and an update from
GVAS.

The council will be asked to approve the purchases of a Case Skid Loader and a power rake for the road department. The council will consider a quote for each item. The council will also consider a crack and joint sealing contract on various streets from Kluesner Construction.

A resolution setting date for the sale of General Obligation Storm Sewer
Improvement Bonds, Series 2026A and authorizing the use of a preliminary official statement in connection therewith will be considered by the council along with discussion and possible action on the First Reading of Ordinance No. 478 amending Chapter 77  on golf carts to conform with Iowa Code Requirements regarding hours of operation and required safety equipment.
