The Garner City Council was approached about the need to have the HVAC system worked on at the Veterans Memorial Recreation Center. Garner Mayor Tim Schmidt stated that the system may need some periodic work.
The hope is to keep the 24 hour a day operation of the Veterans Memorial Recreation Center going with routine maintenance and upkeep.
Schmidt and the council know that the type of system used by the recreation center needs special professional care.
The council approved the agreement.
