Progress Continues in the Forest City Wastewater Treatment Plant

City officials with Forest City continue to monitor the progress of the work on the new water and wastewater treatment plant. City Administrator Tony Mikes is happy with the progress already made.

The city is looking toward the full operation of the system and finishing the payments on the construction of the plant.

With the operation of the plant, the city will come into compliance with current federal regulations on the collection and treatment of residential water and wastewater.
