Forest City Schools Address Accessibility Issues

The Forest City Community Schools are addressing the parking and accessibility issues at both their baseball and football home games. According to Forest City Community Schools Superintendent Darwin Lehmann, it all begins with some new safety measures now in place.

With children running around behind the school and the dangers that presented, the gate was installed to limit the potential dangers for motorists and pedestrians.

This brought up the issue of fans needing accessibility accommodations at the athletic complex. According to Lehmann, the school is implementing a new designated parking process for accessibility accommodations, golf carts, and UTVs effective immediately.

Lehmann explained that on game days, those with passes will need to provide some items.

The passes are now available at the Forest City High School office.
