The Forest City Community School Board is looking to keep pace with the Iowa Legislature when it comes to graduation according to Forest City Schools Superintendent Darwin Lehmann.
The board was made aware of the purpose of the new requirement and how it benefits present and future Forest City students.
The requirement took some hard work on the part of Forest City school staff according to Lehmann.
