The proposed agenda is as follows:
9:00 a.m. Convene as Board of Supervisors
Approve tentative agenda.
Approve minutes of last regular meeting and special meeting.
Approve claims for payment.
Open forum for public input.
Set reimbursable mileage rate for 2026 (current: $0.70)
Set Drainage warrant interest (current: 6%)
Designate official Wright County Employee Holiday’s for 2026.
Authorize petty cash funds for various offices.
Appoint an Eminent Domain Compensation Commission for 2026.
10. Accept the count of cash held by the Wright County Treasurer at the close of business December 30th.
11. Make the following appointments for 2026:
Courthouse, County Farm, Drainage township assignments
Appoint Supervisors to various boards/committee’s
Drainage Attorney (current: Eric Eide)
Make appointments to Township Trustee’s
Official Newspapers (Wright County Monitor, Eagle Grove Eagle, Belmond Independent)
Medical Examiners and Investigators
Appoint member to Board of Adjustment for expired term.
Appoint members to the Wright County Economic Development Commission/Board 3 year term.
Appoint members to the Wright County Charitable Foundation for 2 year term.
Appoint member to Board of Health for 3 year term.
12. Authorize the following Resolutions:
Resolution 2026-01 Attendance of meetings.
Resolution 2026-02 Payment of claims prior to a board meeting.
Resolution 2026-03 Treasurer Naming Depositories.
Resolution 2026-04 Construction Evaluation – Master Matrix.
Resolution 2026-05 Sheriff Naming Depositories.
Resolution 2026-06 Recorder Naming Depositories.
Resolution 2026-07 Noxious Weed Control.
Convene as Drainage Trustees
Approve tentative agenda.
Approve minutes of last meeting.
Approve drainage claims.
Open forum for public input regarding Drainage Districts.
Review and act on drainage work orders.
Review and sign any open drainage invoices.
