United Way Opens Community Impact Grant Funding

United Way of North Central Iowa has announced that its Letters of Intent (LOI) process for 2026 Community Impact Funding is now open. Local nonprofit organizations that are working to improve lives across North Iowa are invited to submit a Letter of Intent by Monday, December 1, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.
United Way’s Community Impact grants invest in local programs that create lasting change in key focus areas — education, health, and financial stability — helping individuals and families achieve their full potential.
Following the LOI review, organizations invited to apply will receive an official invitation during the second week of December. Full grant applications will be due by February 28, 2026.
“We’re proud to support local nonprofits that are driving measurable results in our communities,” said Jen Arends, CEO of United Way of North Central Iowa. “Through Community Impact Funding, we’re able to partner with organizations that make a real difference in the lives of North Iowans — ensuring every child, family, and individual has the opportunity to thrive.”
Organizations can review funding guidelines and submit their Letter of Intent online at
