Garner Discusses Groundskeeping Equipment Purchases

The Garner City Council was asked by the Garner Golf Course to authorize the purchase of groundskeeping equipment according to Garner Mayor Tim Schmidt.

Councilman Glenn Juhl explained that the mower used by the course is getting on in age.

Councilman Damon Quandt explained that the mower get a tremendous amount of use during the week.

A mower that is designed to handle the roughs is very expensive, but the council was in favor of allowing the purchase. Schmidt felt the board was being very responsible with their funds.

The release of funds for the mower was accepted by the council.
