Worthwhile Wind Donates $20,000+ to Local Causes serving Worth and Winnebago Counties

This week, Invenergy’s Worthwhile Wind Energy Center reached a milestone in community giving, donating over $20,000 to local causes this year alone and highlighting Invenergy’s commitment to meaningful community partnerships. Worthwhile Wind’s 2025 community outreach builds on years of engagement in Worth and Winnebago Counties, spanning fire departments and emergency services, agriculture, education, and economic development organizations.
“Invenergy is proud to support these organizations, and we thank them for their vital work in Worth County and the surrounding area. These contributions are a part of our commitment to being good community partners, but that commitment extends far beyond charitable giving,” said Invenergy local affairs manager David Vollmar. “Worthwhile Wind will be an important economic driver in Worth County, investing over $158 million into the community and creating new opportunities for local families and farmers. We look forward to advancing the project and bringing jobs and investment here to North Iowa.”
