The Iowa House of Representatives have had several pieces of legislation to work on that deal with medical issues. State Representative and House Majority Whip Henry Stone of Forest City is happy about legislation that will help area firefighters.
For those who visit the hospital or clinic in need of a certain procedure requiring insurance approval, a measure is currently before the Iowa Senate to make things quicker.
Stone reasoned that the procedures that were associated with the approvals were sometimes held up.
The measure now faces approval in the Iowa Senate.
