The Hancock County Board of Supervisors will meet on Monday morning beginning at 9am. You can view the meeting on kiow.com. The supervisors will hold a teleconference with Cerro Gordo County and Franklin County Board of Supervisors, to discuss and possibly consider request from NRCS on behalf of Todd Gruis to make modifications to Joint Drainage Districts # 86-31-1 Lateral 2L and Lateral 2L1. They will also consider an agreement with B&W Control Specialists for brush control at a cost of $6,500.
The board will have Jake Schreur of the Maintenance Department and Jeremy Purvis, County Engineer, discuss the northwest roof repair project and what work remains to be done. That will be followed by Purvis discussing the current state of secondary roads and what options remain about the county farm.
Hancock County Auditor Michelle Eisenman will discuss drainage and ask the board to appoint an engineer to Drainage District #66, appoint commissioners to reclassify its facilities.
At 11am, the board will hold a continuance of public hearing for Secondary Road Assessment District for paved road surface improvement to 220th Street between Hill Ave and Iowa Ave in Hancock County. Public comments on the matter will be entertained and accepted.
