Property owners are already bracing for winter again as they approached the Forest City Council about the possibility of re-installing a snow fence along Spring Valley Road in Forest City. The city has spoken with the landowner according to Streets and Sanitation Director Andrew Faber.
How effective the snow fence would be is still debatable according to Faber.
In several places along the road, the surrounding land is lower than the road itself which means that the road would remain exposed to snow drifts.
The city has decided to hold off making a decision on the fence until more study is done about what to do.
