The Wright County Board of Supervisors have had to make some adjustments to the Fiscal Year 23-24 budget. The board was compelled to look at Resolution 2023-24 which outlined the changes. Wright County Auditor Betty Ellis explained how the changes came about.
The county took into account several factors and began to make adjustments where applicable in the second part of the resolution according to Ellis.
Ellis went on to explain that the county has seen an increase in revenues.
Concerns were raised about whether the county would have enough funds through the end of the current fiscal year.
The Wright County Supervisors passed the resolution to amend the current fiscal year budget.
