The Britt City Council will hold their monthly meeting on Tuesday beginning at 7pm. The meeting will begin with a consent agenda which includes a list of claims, cigarette, tobacco, and nicotine applications from Britt Food Center and Dollar General, and a Class B Retail Native Wine license for Gift Sew Sweet.
The council and mayor will hear from Mike Birchem of Birchem and Associates Accounting who will give a presentation on the Fiscal Year 21-22 final city budget.
The council will hear reports from various departments. These will include reports from the Library, Public Works, Police, Fire, Zoning, Parks and Recreation, and Golf Course.
The council will then hear from the City Clerk who will discuss an eleventh pay application to Henkel Construction for $570,826.88. The clerk will ask the board to amend the Code of Ordinances. She will also ask the board to approve a Planning and Zoning Committee appointment.
Mayor Arndorfer will give a report on the state of the city before the public will be allowed to comment.
