Worth Board to Debate Closing Certificate on Urban Renewal Bonds

The Worth County Board of Supervisors will meet on Tuesday beginning at 8:30am and you can view the meeting live on kiow.com. The board will get their weekly report from both the Drainage Clerk and the Worth County Engineer Richard Blumm who will cover the current state of secondary roads.

The board will decide whether to issue the closing certificate on $5.7 million in General Obligation Urban Renewal Bonds. The board will consider Resolution 2023-20 which creates an interfund transfer to deal with the bonds.

The board will also consider an ordinance readopting the existing County Code and all applicable amendments in a public hearing beginning at 9:00 A.M.

The supervisors will resume discussions on how best to approach the emergency services issue.
