It has been a long time coming to the north Iowa area, but the newest edition to country festival concerts opens today in Forest City at the Heritage Park of North Iowa.
Organizer and promoter Joe Denim is excited to havwe the event come to Forest City and has been working furiously behind the scenes to bring a quality event to the fans.
The festivities will open at the Stillery Stage located in the Winnebago Rally Grounds. The Buddy Martell Band will open at noon. Cassidy Daniels will take the stage at 12:45pm. The buddy Martell Band returns with several special guests until 4pm.
The Main Stage will open with an ice cream eating cow named Gucci. He along with his owner frequent the local Dairy Queen in their hometown.
Music kicks off at 5pm with McBride and the Ride followed by Hannah Dasher at 6pm and Love and Theft at 7pm.
Big and Rich return to the north Iowa area after several stints with previous music festivals. the fan favorites will perform at 8:30pm followed by Smashmouth at 10pm
