Over the Memorial Day weekend, around 29 bands will perform on separate stages at Denimfest in Forest City. Acts from all over the country and Iowa will be singing their songs and covering others during the weekend long festival.
One of those acts is Liv McNair who hails from Iowa. She is excited to be a part of the inaugural event.
McNair enjoys writing her own music and putting it out in front of a live audience, but there is always a little trepidation in doing so.
She has done songs like “Sober Up for You” and “Foolproof” kicking off her full-time career as a touring artist in August of 2022. She has several songs in the works for potential release.
Artists sometimes draw inspiration from fellow artists and McNair does the same, but she also draws from other genres.
McNair will be onstage on Sunday on the Stillery Stage in the campgrounds joining the Hepperly Band, Will Barnett and Company, Jordy Arndt and the Howlers, and the Buddy Martell Band.
