Nancy Waddingham, age 75, most recently a resident of the Rehabilitation Center of Belmond, Belmond, IA, formerly a long-time resident of rural Klemme, IA, died, May 4, 2023, at the Rehabilitation Center of Belmond, with her husband and life partner Lyle, who also resides at the facilities at her side following a lengthy and courageous battle with various health challenges. According to her wishes no formal services are planned at this time. Her remains will be laid to rest in the future at the Ell Township

Nancy Blau was born April 4, 1948, to Arnold and Viola (Schwichtenberg) Blau. Throughout her life she was a home maker and had been employed for many years as manager of True Value Hardware. She enjoyed and relished the roles of being a loving, wife, mother, and grandmother. She looked forward to any event, occasion, or activity that meant spending time with her family. She was a true animal lover and cared for many pet cats over the years – both at home and on the farm.
Her memory will be carried forward in the hearts and minds of her husband Lyle Waddingham, Belmond, IA, sons, Brian Waddingham, (Jen Swartzendruber) Ankeny, IA, Jamie Waddingham, (Denise) Ankeny, IA, and granddaughter Kathryn Waters, (Ryan) Adel, IA; sister, Peggy (Glenn)
