The much-anticipated railroad crossing work on Highway 69 has been announced. According to the Hancock County Road Department, the construction will begin May 15th at 8am and continue until Friday May 19th.
The railroad is redoing the crossing on Highway 69 just South of B14. B14 will remain open to traffic. The DOT has set up the detour on B16/310th Street, and then R44/Oak Ave. and then over on B14/335th Street to come in on the West Side of Forest City. Should only take 1 week pending weather.
