(The Winnebago County Board of Supervisors meeting has adjourned).
The Winnebago County Board of Supervisors will meet on Tuesday beginning at 9am to hear from Winnebago County Engineer Scott Meinders on secondary road issues. He may cover the resurfacing of secondary roads and repairs where needed. He will also cover the issue of the bridge near 3 Fingers Campground on 135th Ave, Section 29 in Forest Township and possible repairs needed there.
The board will set a public hearing on whether or not to abandon Lateral 2B1 in Drainage District 2-3. At issue is that the lateral doesn’t work properly. Two landowners share the lateral and feel they could clean and operate it at a much lesser cost than working through the county. The board will discuss the options of what to do at the hearing.
Two other public hearings will be scheduled. The first is for an anhydrous ammonia storage and pumping facility and the second concerns a budget amendment to the current budget.
The board may approve a resolution that will adopt the next fiscal year budget.
