Patricia L. (Krull) Lauritsen, 64, of Mason City, a native of Buffalo Center, IA, died, Friday, March 17, 2023, at her home in Mason City, IA.
A service will be held Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 1 PM, at Clear Lake Christian Church, 302 HWY 18 west, Clear Lake, IA.

Patricia Lee Krull, the daughter of Alroy and Marlen Krull was born September 25, 1958, in Buffalo Center, IA. She was baptized and confirmed at First Reformed Church in Buffalo Center and was a 1977 graduate of Buffalo Center High School. Patty went to Jackson Technical College in Jackson, MN. She worked as a Soil Conservation Technician in the SCS Office in Thompson, IA, and also enjoyed surveying land with her dad.
In 1983, Patty was united in marriage to Donald Lauritsen. They were blessed with 3 children: Spencer, Autumn, and Katy. She and her family were members of the West Prairie Lutheran Church of Leland, IA. Her family was very important to her, and she loved spending time with them and making them special cakes for their birthday parties.
Patty enjoyed baking angel food cakes wither her mom and later in her own home as well as many goodies including krumkake for family Christmas celebrations. Patty loved to sew and do hand needlework making many gifts for her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters: Autman Lauritsen of Manly, IA, and Katy Lauritsen of Mason City, IA. She is also survived by three grandchildren: James of Manly and Dakota and Jude of Mason City. Also surviving is her sister Sher (John) Blomster, and brothers Mark (Shelda) Krull and Jamie (Teresa) Krull, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She survived by her aunts Joyce (Loren) Shiers, Ardella Krull, Betty Baker, LeEtta Krull, Beverly Lovik and many friends.
Patty was preceded in death by her son Spencer and her parents, Alroy and Marlene Krull, her grandparents Thomas and Hazel Lovik, and Fred and Adeline Krull, Aunt Eleanor Lovik, Uncles Ver and Harlan Lovik and Alan Baker.
