The Forest City Council is meeting and there are several issues they plan to work on. They will receive a report on the audit done on the fiscal year 2022 budget. This will be followed by an update from WHKS on the current progress done at the wastewater treatment plant.
The council will review a resolution to lease purchase lawn care equipment for the golf course. They will also look into filling a Park Commissioner position.
The council is expected to set a date for the public hearing on the Fiscal Year 2024 Budget. The council will also set new fines and rules for the public and their use of the compost site.
The council will conclude business with Ordinance 836 which allows for a civil infraction for animal protection and control within the city limits.
