Wright County Supervisors Respond to Workforce Development Disolution

The Wright County Board of Supervisors have dissolved their branch of the states’ workforce development group. the county had been receiving mixed messages on how the program should be run countywide. According to Supervisor Karl Helgevold, Wright County members attended a recent state meeting where everything began.

Supervisor Rick Rasmussen highlighted what transpired.

The state continues to make changes to regulations which is causing confusion among county offices. Rasmussen felt that enough was enough.

The board was unanimous in its opinion to dissolve the workforce development program in Wright County.
