The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a virtual and in person public information meeting to discuss the proposed widening and resurfacing of U.S. 18 from the East Branch Iowa River Bridge to Country Club Drive in Garner in Hancock County.
The In-person meeting will take place March 23rd between 5 and 6:30 pm in the Garner City Hall, 135 W 5th Street. During the meeting the Iowa DOT staff will be present to discuss the proposed improvements. No formal presentation will be made. The meeting space is accessible for persons with disabilities. The Virtual presentation will take place anytime between March 23 (around Noon) through April 3, 2023.Those wishing to attend need to go to www.iowadot.gov/pim and click on “US 18 in Garner”
Those who attend virtually will experience a self-guided tour of the proposed improvements and submit comments and questions at any time during the comment period.
